Soundbar Mounting in Charlotte
A soundbar should look like it belongs with the TV, not like an afterthought. The right mount depends on the soundbar model, TV bracket, wall type, cable path, and whether the TV is fixed or full-motion.
Mounting Options
Some soundbars attach to the TV mount. Some need a separate wall bracket. Some models work better on a shelf. The right choice depends on weight, mounting holes, TV height, and how the cables reach the TV.
If the TV is already mounted, send photos of the TV, bracket, soundbar back, and wall.
Cable Cleanup
The normal cables are power, HDMI ARC, and sometimes optical. If the TV is already cleanly mounted, the soundbar should not create a new cable mess below it.
In-wall cable concealment is possible only when the wall and building rules allow it. In apartments and condos, a surface raceway is often the safer clean option.
What Changes the Price
General handyman work starts at $95/hr with a 1-hour minimum. The scope changes if the TV needs to come down, the soundbar needs a special bracket, the wall is masonry or metal studs, or cable concealment is part of the job.
If booked with TV mounting, the soundbar is usually easier to plan correctly from the start.
DIY vs. Calling a Handyman
DIY is fine for a light soundbar on a simple bracket. Call a handyman when the bar is heavy, the TV is already mounted, the bracket is unclear, or you want the cables clean.
Do not rely on adhesive strips for a heavy soundbar above furniture.
